Music/Band Of The Week: NIRVANA - Where Did You Sleep Last Night
In this section I'll post one song of a band per week, talk about it (notes of singers or curiosities) and comment.
Do you know this song? Do you like it? Do you know Nirvana?
I recommend this band to you. For many reasons. Great Music; crazy (!) lyrics. And all lyrics of them have a meaning or refers to someone and all lyrics are thoughts of Kurt Cobain.
But who is (was) Kurt Cobain?
Kurt Cobain (K.C. to his friends) together with Dave Grohl and Krist Novosilic formed this great band: NIRVANA. Some people say that Nirvana "invented" the real rock. This is due to Kurt Cobain. Unfortunately he is no more with us. People say that he suicided himself. But others say he was murdered.
As Noel Gallagher (Oasis) say: "He was a genius. He invented rock. I think we lost John Lennon of our generation".

Do teenagers know what real love is? - English Assessment Test; December 6, 2010
Author's note: This last test was not what I expected. It did not go well. But still, I'm going to rewrite my test.
Teenagers are very special and sometimes strange. In this part of life, teenagers get their first love. I disagree with people who say teenagers don't understand what real love is. And I ask: "why not?" In fact they are maybe to young to know but perhaps they have a very good idea of love. Some of them may not be deceived by saying that their current girlfriends are going to be their wives in the future.
Some people say that "there is no love like the first love"!
It's common people have many love relationships over several years and in the end marry with their first love.
So I can say many teenagers know what real love is, despite being young.
Teenagers are very special and sometimes strange. In this part of life, teenagers get their first love. I disagree with people who say teenagers don't understand what real love is. And I ask: "why not?" In fact they are maybe to young to know but perhaps they have a very good idea of love. Some of them may not be deceived by saying that their current girlfriends are going to be their wives in the future.

One of the best books I've read - English Assessment Test; October 11, 2010
I don't usually read books. I know reading books is very important and it “feeds” our brains. But I think it is boring.
I read a book a few years ago. The book was about José Mourinho. He is a very popular coach. People all around the world call him the “Special One”. But that book was about the years he was in Portugal coaching F.C. Porto. So there were many reasons that convinced me to read that book! Because I like football, I'm a big fan of F.C. Porto and José Mourinho is my idol! I like his personality as a coach and as a person.
The book covers the time when Mourinho arrived at FC Porto and won the Champions League. So, we (and I refer to F. C. Porto fans) owe him the fact that we were European Champions of football in 2004!
The part I liked most was the end. That part of the book shows how Mourinho prepared himself and his players to win that important cup.
I think it was the best book I have read!
